Getting started

Jota connects your Shopify store to your Salesforce org. Changes in Shopify reach Salesforce as they happen, and your team can create Shopify customers and draft orders from Salesforce.

Jota has two parts:

• The Jota app opens in your Shopify admin. Use it to connect Salesforce, map fields, and review sync history.
• The Jota packages install in Salesforce. They add the setup screens, sync tools, record actions, and fields your team uses.

The 1Sync team connects Jota to your Shopify store as part of your setup. If you don’t see Jota in your Shopify admin yet, get in touch.

Choose your packages

• Jota Core is required. It covers customers, orders, draft orders, products, fulfillments, and setup.
• Jota B2B is optional. It adds companies, locations, company contacts, markets, and catalog pricing. Install it only if you sell through Shopify B2B.

Set up Jota

1. Install the packages and connect your store.
2. Give your team access.
3. Review your field mappings.
4. Import your existing data and turn on schedules.

If you sell through Shopify B2B, continue with Jota B2B. To email customers from Salesforce, see customer invitations.

If something is missing or a sync fails, start with troubleshooting.
